As the nation kicks up a storm about how that horrible pair of twins still manage to hang on, in X-Factor, never even making it into the Bottom Two, I take a look at some so-called “famous” or perhaps “infamous” celebs that we all (sometimes secretly) absolutely love to hate…

Jedward

Who are they?

John and Edward Grimes (how appropriate!) are two of the countries most tone-deaf and talentless X-Factor contestants EVER!  They remind me of Adrian Edmondson’s attempt at Fame Academy several years ago, where he couldn’t sing but he hung on purely for the entertainment factor. Only difference? At least Adrian has talents elsewhere!

They sing songs…badly… Dance…badly, and have potentially the most annoying hair cut in existence! I just want to CUT IT!!

Why do we find them so annoying?

Because they are part of a talent contest, and evidently have none.

Any redeeming features?

Young girls appear to like them, and many of us seem to find them entertaining… although are we laughing with them, or at them??

Robert Pattinson

Who is he?

Actor, best known for his role as Edward Cullen in the popular film; Twilight, although first became known through his role as Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

When he’s not moping around, with an expressionless pale face, he is seducing as many of his cast members as physically possible.

Why do we find him so annoying?

Because he always looks so damned miserable, even in this picture where he’s actually smiling, he still doesn’t look happy. I don’t know if he’s just gotten into the role of Edward a little too deeply, but good grief man, you look positively bored!

Any redeeming features?

He’s not honestly that annoying, in the sense that there are so many young man who are acting in the exact same way that he does (I mean who wouldn’t use their fame to get with lots of the opposite sex??), but he really doesn’t do himself any favours by being apparently reclusive and stating that he might quit this “lame work”, but then takes roles in huge films and throws himself at anything in a skirt!!

Katie Price aka Jordan

Who is she?

Well, that’s anyone’s guess really. She likes to call herself an entrepreneur, but she appears to have dabbled in any industry that she can force herself into; glamour modelling, TV presenting, Reality TV, writing (well if coming up with an idea and letting someone else write it is considered writing, then…okay then!!), mother, and generally annoying us.

Why do we find her so annoying?

Where do I begin? If she isn’t thrusting her chest in our faces, she’s airing her dirty laundry in it instead. It seems that not a day goes by, when she isn’t taking up newspaper inches for some unknown reason. She also has absolutely no talent, whatsoever, and unlike so many of the other talentless wannabes that parade around all the time, she doesn’t even look pretty, I’m sorry Jordan, I mean Katie Price, but no amount of plastic surgery will ever make you look good, and to be honest, you looked better before!!

Annoying Factor:

Any redeeming features?

Despite everything, there is no doubt, in my mind anyway, that Katie Price is a damn good mum. I question how many other “celebs” would handle Harvey with such dignity as she does.

Peaches Geldof

Who is she?

Peaches is the second eldest daughter of Bob Geldof and the late Paula Yates. She’s often snapped falling out of clubs drunk, and doing a lot of pouting, although apparently she’s a writer, and she takes it very seriously!!

Why do we find her so annoying?

If a recent documentary, presented by Fearne Cotton, is anything to go by, Peaches certainly doesn’t do herself any favours. She came across as a rude spoilt little girl, who wasn’t particularly very likeable.

She seems very much on par with the likes of Lily Allen, in that she likes to lap up all the attention that she can get, and then turns round and moans about everything that has put her where she is, ie the media! If you don’t like the paparazzi shoving cameras in your face, stop doing things that attract their attention!!

Any redeeming features?

I honestly believe that the rude and pouty attitude is all a front. A mask hiding the fact that she is a troubled young woman, who is potentially still struggling with everything life threw at her from a very young age. At the end of the day, she didn’t choose her parents. But then again, her elder sister Fifi Trixibelle is a successful virtual unknown, so if this wasn’t the life she chose, then she wouldn’t be here!!

The Beckhams

Who are they?

David Beckham is probably the most famous (and richest) footballer ever. Whilst Victoria Beckham was a member of one of the most famous girl groups ever. David has also dabbled in modelling, and is a marketing executives wet dream. Victoria has attempted acting, fashion design and modelling. Together they have various ranges including perfumes. I’d honestly hate to think how much, exactly this pair is worth!

Why do we find them so annoying?

Although the Beckham’s have been rather quiet of late, there was a time when you could not take two steps without seeing the image of at least one of this pair. They were just everywhere, with David fronting so many different ad campaigns, and Victoria trying to convince herself (and perhaps us, as well) that she does infact have a little talent…but well, we’re still waiting to see that!

So many of us Brits were thrilled when the Beckham’s announced their move to LA.

They must obviously be doing something right, because they are worth a fortune, and since their move to LA they have made several Hollywood friends, including TomKat (Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes!).
